We open with NHL predictions, featuring the Detroit Red Wings vs. the Calgary Flames. Detroit is expected to start Cam Talbot in goal, but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Red Wings are 4-4-2 over their last 10 games but have won three of their last four entering this matchup. Lucas Raymond and Dylan Larkin are both tied for the team’s lead in points with 32.
Calgary is projected to go with Dustin Wolf in goal for this game. The Flames are in seventh in the Pacific Division, but are 7-2-1 in the last 10 games. Calgary has been a much-improved team in recent games, but it has plenty of work to do to get back into the postseason mix. Nazem Kadri is tops in assists (20) and points (26) for Calgary.
Both teams have been better in recent games. However, the Flames should get the win.
Prediction: Flames win 4-3.
