TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — USF men’s basketball faces UAB in its first home game of 2025.
The game is between the AAC 2023-24 regular-season champions and the defending AAC tournament champions UAB at 7 p.m.
Kobe Knox is shooting 79.4 percent from the field, 76.2 percent from 3-point range, and 71.4 percent from the free-throw line.
“He’s been really good for us. Kobe works as hard as anybody on this team,” USF men’s basketball head coach Ben Fletcher said. “I’m very happy for him because he gets so down on himself because he works so hard and I always try to explain to him man you do such a good job and you work so hard.”
Knox is the only player in USF and AAC history to record these percentages. He is also the only NCAA player to achieve this feat this season.
“I think we are very balanced with the ability to score on the perimeter as well as in the post with Jamille Reynolds and Deon Green so I want us to continue with that and out of the end of the season I wanna be a really balanced team,” said Fletcher.
