September 27, 2025 by WFLA-TV 8

TAMPA, Fla. (USF) – The University of South Florida Men’s Basketball program and American Conference have announced the Bulls’ 2025-26 conference schedule, presented by TGH. The Bulls are unveiling a slate that will feature marquee home matchups inside the Yuengling Center and critical road tests across the conference.

USF will play an 18-game conference schedule, facing each league opponent at least once, with select home-and-home series highlighting the grind of the AAC season.

The Bulls have home-and-home matchups against half of their conference opponents: UAB, Tulsa, Wichita State, FAU, Tulane, and Memphis.

The other six conference opponents will see the Bulls only once, with South Florida traveling to North Texas, Temple, and Rice. The Yuengling Center will host ECU, UTSA, and Charlotte as they travel to Tampa to play the Bulls.

The Bulls will open conference play on Jan. 4 at home against UAB and conclude the regular season on March 8 at home against Charlotte.

This season marks the first under head coach Bryan Hodgson, who arrives in Tampa with a reputation as one of the nation’s top recruiters and a rising leader in college basketball. Hodgson and his staff look to energize the program and build on USF’s strong tradition while navigating one of the most competitive leagues in the country.

Broadcast assignments and tip-off times will be announced at a later date by the American Conference and its television partners.
