The Las Vegas Raiders are bringing over someone from Jason Licht’s front office to lead their team as they explore getting on the winning path. The Raiders are expected to hire Bucs assistant general manager John Spytek to their vacant general manager role.
Spytek, who has been with the Bucs since 2016, now head to Las Vegas who has the sixth pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and a projected $92 million in salary cap space.
Spytek has been in the NFL since 2004, after going undrafted after a college career at Michigan, he started his career in Detroit as an intern. He has worked for several teams including the Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Eagles, and Cleveland Browns. His main focus has been on scouting college prospects when he was climbing up the NFL front office ladder before playing a larger role in Tampa Bay under Jason Licht.
