The Tampa Bay Bucs must address the defense this offseason, especially at the edge rusher position. Some people expect them to do it through the NFL Draft, but at pick 19, the best edge rushers of the class may be gone.
In that aspect, the focus would shift to free agency and one of the best available this offseason is making a change.
The Philadelphia Eagles are preparing for the Super Bowl and their matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. One of their players though is preparing for more than the Super Bowl as he has changed who will represent him during the upcoming offseason where he is a free agent.
It was reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN that Josh Sweat was switching the agency that would represent him going forward ahead of the offseason. Sweat has hired Drew Rosenhaus and Ryan Matha to represent him going forward.
Per Schefter’s post, Rosenhaus has already declared that “He clearly is one of the very top free agents.”
Sweat is coming off a season that saw him have eight sacks and a whopping 54 pressures on the quarterback. It will be interesting to see where he lands up and we can expect Jason Licht to keep his eyes on him this coming Sunday.
