NFL Fans Impressed By Tom Brady’s 40-Time At 46 Years Old

There’s little denying that Tom Brady is an incredible physical specimen at 46 years of age. But the NFL’s GOAT appeared to prove that he’s an even better athlete now than he was coming out of college in his early-20s.

In a video posted on Thursday, Brady decided to run the 40-yard dash as “redemption” for his famously terrible combine run of 5.28 back in 2000. To the surprise of everyone – especially himself – he was able to complete the run in 5.12 seconds – a full .16 faster than he did as a 22-year-old.

To put that mark into perspective, Brady’s most recent backup quarterback, Kyle Trask, ran a 5.10 in the 2021 NFL Draft.

As you might expect, NFL fans were shocked and delighted that Brady is still so fit at an age where most people are slowing down. He was just short of his 22nd birthday.

“Tom Brady running a faster 40 at age 46 than he did at age 22. Tom vs Time continues to be a one-sided matchup,” one user wrote.

“The more time has gone by, the more I’ve come to absolutely love Tom Brady. And maybe appreciate his greatness more than any other athlete in the last couple decades. He is in ridiculous shape right now. Shouts out to Tom,” wrote another.

“I know it was only about .1 seconds faster, but to be faster than you were in your 20s is actually a testament that your body is more capable than you think. “If you don’t use it, you lose it” is a real thing. Keep your body strong and mobile and you won’t lose that ability,” a third replied.

24 years later, redemption is spelled T O M 😂 @nobull pic.twitter.com/6BoruftAd9
