The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost their offensive coordinator Dave Canalas last offseason when he took the Carolina Panthers head coaching position. Canalas found his footing and ended the season on a strong run led by a resurgent Bryce Young.
Fast-forward a year, and now another team is enamored with the offensive coordinator Liam Coen, whom the Bucs hired to replace Canalas.
According to NFL Analyst Charles Robinson, the Jaguars, who have interviewed Coen, are rumored to like him “a lot.” Robinson also gave his opinion on who he favors for all the current head coach openings.
Handicapping it today, I’d slot it:
Dallas #Cowboys: Kellen Moore
New Orleans #Saints: Mike McCarthy
New York #Jets: Aaron Glenn
Las Vegas #Raiders: Ben Johnson
Jacksonville #Jaguars: Liam Coen

In a reply to the tweet posted above, he also mentions that the Jaguars like Coen more than media darling Ben Johnson of the Detroit Lions. Coen would be paired with a Jaguars offense full of playmakers, similar to that of the Bucs, so it makes sense for him to be a favorite for the job.
If he lands the position, he would also save a bit on moving costs going from Tampa Bay to Jacksonville.
