The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had some changes to their coaching staff over the years. Like any team and business, some come and go, and they even sometimes find new opportunities to thrive in.
Former Bucs offensive coordinator Todd Monken is receiving interest from teams around the NFL for their head coach openings.
So far, two teams have reached out to the current Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator and requested interviews. The Chicago Bears and Las Vegas Raiders have expressed interest in the veteran play-caller. Monken served in that same role with the Bucs for three seasons from 2016 to 2018.
Monken would leave Tampa Bay for the Cleveland Browns in 2019 and then would make a stop in the college ranks when he took the offensive coordinator job at Georgia. After winning two national championships with them, he joined the Baltimore Ravens and helped them establish one of the best offenses in the NFL.
Now more teams want the Midas touch he gives the offense.
