TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers edged their division rival, the Atlanta Falcons, 23-20 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the Bucs’ season opener.

They discussed the Bucs’ 19th overall draft pick, wide receiver Emeka Ebuka’s amazing performance in his first-ever regular-season NFL game, Josh Grizzard’s first time play-calling as the new offensive coordinator, and the defense’s performance against Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr.
The win gave Tampa Bay a 1-0 record to start the season and marked the fifth straight year is has prevailed in a season opener. The all-time series between the two teams is now tied at 32-32.
