TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Thursday the re-signing of their general manager and head coach to multi-year contract extensions, following their joint leadership through the most successful five-year stretch in the team’s history.
General Manager Jason Licht has assembled a Super Bowl championship roster since joining the Bucs in 2014.
Head Coach Todd Bowles assumed the role in 2022 and has established himself as the first coach in team history to guide the Bucs to three consecutive NFC South titles and playoff appearances.
He ranks second among esteemed Tampa Bay head coaches with 27 regular-season victories.
“Jason and Todd’s leadership has been critical to our organization’s success. The winning culture they have established has us well positioned for the future,” said Buccaneers Owner and Co-Chairman Joel Glazer. “The continuity and stability they provide will play a large role in our ability to compete for additional championships.”
