For the second time in three weeks, Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield is named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week.
The Bucs quarterback led the the team to a 48-14 win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 17. In the process of winning that game, Mayfield passed for 359 yards while completing 27 out of 32 passes. Five of those passes would find the endzone with two going to Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan and one to Payne Durham.
In Week 15, Mayfield won the award after the team put 40 points on the Los Angeles Chargers with the former Heisman Trophy winner throwing four touchdowns in that performance. All together, he has won the award six times now in his career going back to 2018.
Baker Mayfield has had more success than just these two weeks, though. He has set career highs in passing touchdowns and yards and all while having one more week to play against a Saints team that he had success against earlier in the year.
