Jason Licht spoke to the media at the NFL Scouting Combine after his podium session. Licht spoke about several things related to the team including a topic that has proven to be touchy with the fanbase this offseason. Liam Coen.
Rick Stroud of The Tampa Bay Times asked the Bucs general manager about the new Jacksonville Jaguars head coach.
Licht gave a rather honest response to the question of how things are with Coen saying, “I don’t really wanna go back to the past, it’s over. I wanna say I have of respect for Liam and his family, he is a great coach and I am happy for him.”
Stroud followed up by asking about the future potential for joint practices ahead of their unofficially annual preseason game. Licht went on to say, “Everything is still on the table, this wouldn’t play a factor in those things, you know? Time heals.”
That last part is specifically important for the team and the fans themselves. You can hear his full comments in the post below from Stroud’s social media account.
