New Buccaneers edge rusher Haason Reddick is ready for a fresh start and glad to be with a team under a winning culture.

After a tumultuous 2024 season with the New York Jets that saw him record just one sack, new Bucs pass rusher Haason Reddick is in the building and ready to roll with his new team.

From 2020-2023, Reddick posted four consecutive double-digit sack seasons as a member of the Cardinals, Panthers, and Eagles. His career high came in 2022 with Philadelphia when he posted 16 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, and five forced fumbles. After 27 sacks across two seasons with the Eagles, Reddick was traded to the Jets but a continued contract dispute limited him to just 10 games and two starts on the year.

Now out of New York, Reddick seems to be acclimating to his new franchise well. Following Wednesday’s practice, Reddick told reporters that — while he works out by himself during the offseason every single year — he’s happy to be with his new team under a “winning culture.”

Per Sports Illustrated’s River Wells, Reddick is staying motivated by the team’s young pass rushing corps that includes Yaya Diaby and Chris Braswell. The veteran is already busy giving out as many pointers as possible, as well.

In all, Reddick’s energy looks like a man who’s embracing a fresh start. While meeting with reporters, he also touched on this idea that he’s out to regain his former self. Reddick said he’s not after regaining any sort of reputation, but rather making sure he’s in a great place at all times. The outside chatter? He’s not paying it any mind.
