The Tampa Bay Buccaneers added some much-needed help to their offensive line Thursday night, spending the No. 26 overall pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft on Duke’s Graham Barton.
A versatile blocker who can play all five positions along the offensive line, Barton will likely start at center for the Bucs as a rookie after dominating at left tackle for the Blue Devils over the past three years. Barton played center as a true freshman at Duke.
It looks like Barton won’t have to switch jersey numbers, either, as he revealed his new No. 62 Bucs jersey at his introductory press conference Friday, the same number he wore in college:

Congrats to Barton on being a first-round pick, and congrats to the Bucs for landing the perfect fit for their needs with their top selection in this year’s draft.
