TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are partnering with the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation Tuesday to help fight childhood cancer.
On June 3, the Bucs held their annual “Cut and Color Funds the Cure” to benefit the foundation, which is based in Tampa.
The team and staff members — including Head Coach Todd Bowles, COO Brian Ford, and General Manager Jason Licht — will have their heads and/or facial hair shaved or dyed red to help raise funds for the charity.
The team will also be joined by Bucs legends Mike Alstott, Richard “Batman” Wood, Martin Gramatica, and Dexter Jackson.
This is the 11th year for the “Cut and Color” event, which has raised a total of $750,000 for NPCF.
