Former major leaguer Doug Creek has passed away, according to multiple sources, including The Journal out of Martinsburg, West Virginia. The left-hander died at the age of 55 due to the effects of pancreatic cancer. Creek was born in Winchester, Virginia in 1969 and went on to attend Georgia Tech.
